Ukraine is the East European country. The population amounts to 46 million people. Not so many European countries are so large. Now I’d like to describe the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine. We have about 1 500 (one thousand and five hundred) domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers (plants and factories). Naturally they compete with each other and with foreign companies. What about pharmaceutical market in Ukraine? There are more than 15 000 pharmacies in Ukraine. We have more than 13 000 registered medicines in Ukraine. We had 4% registered medicines increase last year. A volume of the imported pharmaceutical products to Ukraine was 40 billion dollars in 2009. That’s why our market is very attractive for foreign manufacturers of medicines! Our company Apteka-95 was established in 1995 as a wholesale company. We have worked very hard for these 15 (fifteen) years to reach and keep the leading position in our national market. Certainly, only a powerful company with high-skilled employees and wide work experience can be successful for such a long time.
